Happy Valentine's Day!

Me and my Valentine of 6 years!!! I love you!!!!!

Me and my perfect Valentines! I love you Cadence and Ainsley!!! Mommy is soooooo lucky to have you both!

Valentine's Day is always a fun day to celebrate all the loves of your life!!! Well this was my first Valentine's Day to celebrate with both of my beautiful daughters.......in the doctor's office. :P All three of us were in the dr.'s office on Monday. Poor Cadence has a nasty cough that just won't go away so she is on breathing treatments. Ainsley has fluid on her lungs so she is on breathing treatments too. Oh and Mommy has bronchitis! When it rains it pours in this house! I am ready for Spring to be here and stay here and stop all this back and forth nonsense. I need well babies not sick ones. We have been going back and forth to the doc this whole last month. It is about to kill me! I just want them better!
Here are some fun pics though of our Valentine's Day dinner at home and opening up our little gifts from one another. :) Hope yall had a great Valentine's Day and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRINITY!!!!

Much Needed Update

Soooo you know you are busy when it has been 3 months since updating my blog! Yes that is right.....I am a mother of 2! Where is there time anymore? :)

Since the last update Cadence is now a big 4 year old! She had a horse themed birthday party and had loads of fun playing with her friends at her birthday party. She got a lot of cool gifts and is truly blessed with all the people in her life that love her. :) Cadence is still measuring in the 95th percentile for her age. Can you say Mommy is going to be the runt of the family? :) She is loving being a big sister to Ainsley and I must say she is amazing at it! She had a great time going to Kerrville and Allen for the holidays and prays every evening to move back to Texas because she misses everyone there and loves them with all of her "heart and sold". HAHAHAHAA! Love that silly girl!!! She is now in preschool and loving it. She goes twice a week to a preschool run by mommys. We all take turns teaching and assisting one another and we rotate homes. There are 8 kids all together and she is having a blast learning and making all sorts of fun little crafts. :) My baby is growing too fast!!! :(

Ainsley is now 6 months, almost 7 months! Man she is growing fast! On January 7th she finally had her first veggie: sweet peas! She is in love with sweet potatoes! She can't open her mouth fast enough for those. Super cute! She started rolling over when we were home in Texas at Mom and Dad's house. Since getting home she has been log rolling everywhere! Can't stop that booger whatsoever! :) One minute I put her down on the floor and the next minute she has rolled all the way to Ryan's ottoman and is chewing on the corner of it. Super funny!!!! She has been put through the ringer lately. She got a mild case of the flu and then turned right around and got a slight ear infection right on top of that. Poor baby! She is better now and sleeping better but we just need the teeth to come through. She did a great job opening presents at Christmas and is loving all her goodies that she got.

We sure are ready for our next trip in to see everyone...but until then we will be busy with school, friends visiting, and taking Daddy on a trip for his 30th birthday. Super excited about that!!!!!
Hope all is well with everyone and I will try to be better about posting sooner. Love to all!

Introducing......Ainsley Joy

Here is our newest addition to the family almost 2 months past her arrival. Things have been busy since she came so I am just now getting around to this. Ainsley was born July 7, 2010 at 3:29pm. She was 7 pounds and 19 1/2 inches long. She is growing like a weed each and every day. Cadence loves being a big sister! She can't seem to get enough of Ainsley. Anytime Ainsley wakes up she runs right to her saying "Well hi bright eyes!" It is the sweetest thing a Mommy could ever see. Here are some pics to catch you up on our growing baby girl.

Going in Today!!!!!

We are finally heading in today to start the induction for Ainsley! :) Ryan, Cadence, and I are soooo excited and can't wait to meet her! After the amnio test we found out she wasn't quite ready to come out so she needed a few more days to cook. It was hard news to take emotionally because I was ready to hold her but best for her and all of us. So we are heading in and can't wait!!!!! We will keep everyone posted. Love to all!!!

2 More Days!

Well I am past due on my update. We went to the dr. on Monday for monitoring and to see Dr. Joe. All came out pretty good. My fluid level had dropped to a 9 which wasn't as good as it had been. Carly did the measurements again and got a 10 the second time. So it was somewhere around there. Ainsley was active after Carly shocked my belly with the "baby alarm clock" which just vibrates on my belly to wake her up. After monitoring it was finally off to a room to see Dr. Joe.
He of course was running behind but once he walked in I was having a contraction that was shooting all the way through my back. It was painful but I made it! :) He asked how I was doing so I told him all the symptoms I was having and he said "Well let's check you and see what your cervix is doing and go from there." I was still a 1 and my cervix was "long" according to him. He then proceeded to say that we could induce if I was interested. I jumped all over that! He said he wanted me as close to 38 weeks as possible and then he would feel better about the results of the amnio. So we will go in tomorrow morning for an amnio around 9 to see how she is doing. If all the results come back great then we are heading to the hospital to have our baby girl Saturday morning. Induction will begin at 7am so I am expecting a long day. More than likely they will have to thin out my cervix before getting everything going. We will have to wait and see. We are thinking sometime later in the afternoon or evening we will have a little girl. :)
If I keep feeling the way I am feeling today I will be calling the dr. to go in for monitoring. She has been hurting me through the night with contractions but I didn't want to jump the gun and go to the hospital to pay another lump sum to find it is braxton hicks or something like that. HAHAAA! Oh well! Update will be posted tomorrow after we get the results of the amnio. I get to see my baby one more time in my belly tomorrow before she comes. YIPPEE!

PRAISE THE LORD!

Today's monitoring and dr. appt. went great! Ainsley is head down! Thank you Lord! My fluid level was a little over 14 and I was actually having contractions on the monitor. Man I felt them too! YIKES! Should be interesting! I saw Dr. Rojas and he checked me. I was already dialated a little past a 1 but my cervix is still thick. He is hoping I will continue contracting and that my cervix will dialate more by next Monday. He thinks I might actually go into labor on my own if all goes well. If not we will be inducing sometime early July. Very excited! When he checked me it was the first time he has been able to tell me that he could feel her head. I cried for sure on that one because he hasn't been able to feel her before. She is doing everything she needs to be doing. Now we just need to hold out and see if she wants to come on her own or if we will induce. I am feeling good but I think Zofran will be my friend this evening. :P Kinda having a hard time keeping from feeling sick right now. BLAH! Very tired tonight so I think there will be an early bed time. YIPPEE!!! :) Please keep praying that Ainsley will remain head down and will start working magic down there. Love to all! :)

OH MAN!

Well it is official! We have finally made it to the 20's in the countdown to due date. Today we had more monitoring and also a sonogram to see how much little Miss Ainsley has grown. She is now measuring into her 37th week and I turn 36 weeks tomorrow. She is about a week to a week and a half ahead of me. She looks a lot like her sister! :) We weren't able to get great pics today of her face because the little toot is still breech. Her melon is in my right rib cage and that explains all the pain and lack of breathing ability I have had. Her head was measuring in the 98% so try having that jammed under your rib cage and then try breathing. HAHAAAAA! The tech was able to get a cute pic of Ainsley's hand which is really sweet and also a part of her ear. The ear shot is kinda weird because she zoomed in so much but the hand is precious! You can see all of her little fingers curled up and cute! :) We go back Monday for more monitoring and then followed by seeing the doc. Hopefully he will set up a date for us. I can only pray. Please be in prayer that Ainsley will turn head down before that date comes along so we can have another normal birth. I am really nervous about a c section and trying to be up for Cadence as well afterwards. I don't want to be down too long for her sake. :( Gotta keep her happy too! Love to all! Thanks for the prayers! :)

Ainsley Update

We went to monitoring on Friday and she had what they call variable decelerations where her heart rate skipped around and kept dipping down. It happened anytime I felt her move really big. She would move so much that she would jump off the monitor and it wasn't picking up her heartbeat. She is a mover! :) So because of the VD's we had to go into the hospital on Saturday for more monitoring. Everything went great there. We got a sneak peek of the rooms and the nursing staff. We were impressed with both!!! :) We were there for about 30 minutes and were out the door.
I had monitoring again yesterday with my doc. Ainsley's fluid level was 14.5 which is great. I have been having a lot of pressure down low so while she was checking my fluid I asked her to see if Ainsley had moved into position yet. She waved the machine all over my belly and then finally went down on my lower abs and shot upward and there sat a perfect little round circle on the screen. She is finally head down and ready to go. PRAISE THE LORD! So she is in position and Mommy is ready! I go to the doc tomorrow to hopefully nail everything down with the doc. I am hoping to ask for an induction date and actually get one scheduled. I am worn out and my body is about done. The swelling is really picking up and the heat is about to kill me. Not to mention she is out of room in there and I am getting really sick. I am ready to stop throwing up!!! :P Please pray for good news tomorrow and that the doc will give in to her coming within the next couple of weeks. Love yall!

34 Weeks!

Well we have made it to the 34th week!!! :) YIPPEE!!! Monitoring is still going good. My fluid level dropped from Friday to Tuesday of this week from 16 to 12.6. They said not to worry that I am still doing okay. I go back tomorrow for another morning of monitoring. Curious to see how she is doing. She hasn't been as active lately as she normally is. Can only think she is growing like a weed!
I have been having a lot of pains in my lower back. I know that there have been some contractions as well lately. I thought I was going to die in Target yesterday. I started contracting in the toy aisle. Not good! HAHAAA! Don't think I want to go into labor in the middle of Target. HAAHAHA! Finally got me a new preggo bathing suit so we can go to the pool and survive the intense heat that is supposed to start this weekend. YIKES!

This next week is going to be crazy! I have monitoring on Monday, Dr. appt. on Wednesday, Wheel of Fortune final auditions on Thursday, and then dentist appt. on Friday. Not to mention somewhere in there I have to find another morning of monitoring. Should be interesting! HAHAA! I am really excited about the Wheel of Fortune tryouts. I went for the tryouts on May 22nd and was never called up to play. They said we could still be emailed or written to ask to attend the final auditions in case they didn't find all the contestants that they wanted to fill the 6 weeks of shows here in Vegas. Well I just happened to check my email and found that they emailed me and asked me to attend the final auditions this next week. I have my audition on Thursday morning at 10. Very anxious to see what we will be doing! Cadence is staying with our neighbor and having a fun play date with her buddy Logan. It will be an exciting day for both of us! She has been really wanting to hang out with him and play. Thanks Megan for helping me out! :) If things go well this round then I will be selected as a contestant to be filmed in July and then our taping will be aired in September. Very exciting! I will keep yall posted on how things go.
Just please continue to pray that things will go smoothly with the pregnancy and that Dr. Rojas will schedule an induction date with me soon. I don't know if my body can stretch anymore. BLAH! Can't wait to see our beautiful little girl Ainsley! Cadence sure is excited to hold you and meet you as well! 42 MORE DAYS!

Monitoring has begun!

Today started the long last few weeks we have left to go with the pregnancy. I started my first monitoring session today followed by my appointment with the doc. Ainsley was moving like crazy through the entire monitoring. She kept punching and kicking trying to get the monitors off of her. I had to push a button every time I felt her move and it would print a little foot on the paper printout. Kinda cool! The nurse came over and said "You have a happy baby in there." I just laughed and said "Once she has food and liquid in the mornings then she goes nuts." She made sure to perform. My stomach was going CRAZY! It was like the ocean waving all over the place, maybe like the waves in a hurricane. HAHAAAA!
Finally went back and saw Dr. Rojas to ask all my questions that have been weighing on my mind. I have been nervous because my fluid got low with Cadence and that is why they had to induce me and she came early. I have been leaking some clear fluid which makes me kinda panic. I told him that and he wanted to check me. He said I was at about a 1 but my cervix is still thick so nothing to worry about. My fluid level was at a 16 which is good. They are going to keep watching my fluid level to make sure that it doesn't start dropping gradually. He also told me he was going to allow me the opportunity to try and give birth vaginally which made my day. I have read everywhere that in most cases of high risk pregnancies they just schedule a c-section but he told me he wouldn't do that to me. He said if everything goes as planned then he will probably induce me if anything. I was happy to hear that! :) I just filled him in on pains I have been having and the morning sickness that has returned so I am back on the zofran. YIPPEE! Just what I wanted! :P
I will go back for my next monitoring on Friday of this week to see the little chick again. Cadence did a great job today and met a new friend named Nikki that was in the monitoring room with her parents who are waiting the arrival of twin boys. Cadence and Nikki were both 3 1/2 and her mom and I are a week apart with the babies. Kinda funny! The girls had a blast keeping each other entertained and watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse together on Cadence's little TV. She even came over at one point and touched my belly and as soon as she moved her little hand Ainsley whacked the crap out of that spot with her little hand trying to get sister. It was soooooo cute!
So the countdown continues til the arrival of our Ainsley Joy!!! We are almost out of the 50's and into the 40's. YEAH!!!! :) Once we hit the 40's I will feel much better knowing that is almost just a month so she will be okay to come for the most part. I would love for her to hang on the next 3 weeks or so and then she can come. 36 weeks sounds good to me! :) I will post a belly shot tonight if I remember to get Ryan to take a pic of me. See yall Friday! :)

Getting Bigger!

Well, it is official! I am expanding like crazy! :) HAHAAA! Ainsley is growing like a weed. I went Monday to the doctor to have my 30 week sono done and she is measuring 15 days ahead of me on everything except her head is measuring 18 days ahead. She is also in the breech position and laying sideways across my stomach. I kept telling Ryan some nights when I was laying in bed that I could watch my stomach move one side then the other like she was kicking and punching at the same time. It is insane! :)

The doctor hasn't moved my due date just yet though. I was hoping maybe he would move it up because of her measuring so big but he hasn't yet. He is making me come back on May 24th to start my twice a week monitoring and also to see him again. I will be monitored starting that week every Monday and Thursday to make sure Ainsley is doing okay and I am as well. I am hoping and praying that this will make these last few weeks fly by and she will be here. :) I can only hope to wish away this miserable heat we will have here this summer while I am the size of a whale! HAHAAA! Since she is measuring ahead of me he wants me to schedule another sono in a few weeks once we get a little closer to the due date to see if he needs to take her early or not. My lower back and hips feel like they are going to explode right now. :) Her feet are angled down right now because of her being breech and her little bottom is against my bladder. That totally explains why I have been soooooooo friendly with the toilet these days. :)

Cadence is getting quite anxious to meet her baby sister. The nursery is getting close to being done. I am heading today to try and find a butterfly picture or puzzle to hang in her room to finish up the walls. I am really excited about that! Cadence and I got her lamp yesterday as well as her ceiling fan. I thought the blades were all pink but they are rainbow colored so I will be taking it back and getting either a pink or solid white. Probably a solid white though since there is a lot of pink in the room already. All I need to get now is the organizer system for the closet, her monitor, and my rocking chair. :)

Here is Miss Ainsley Joy Campise's latest modeling job. :) She had more 3D pics done this time. She was cramped in there so it was hard for Chris to get good pics of her. She was also laying face down too since she is comfy and breech. :)

This has to be my favorite though because she looks like her sister and Daddy here. Cadence really favored Ryan when she was first born. Ainsley seems to be following right in sister's footsteps. We are excited and can't wait to see her! Please pray for our health and my blood pressure. It was up a tiny bit yesterday but I also just got off work and was stressed from all of that mess. Pray that my heart issues don't affect Ainsley at all and she will be able to stay in there til she is at least full term. Love you all! :)

Cadence introducing herself to the class
Hey everyone! Thought I would post a new one since it has been a little while. Things have been crazy the past couple of weeks. Last week we had to make the hardest decision of our lives and put our Sweetie girl down. :( After an amazing almost 12 years of life her little body couldn't take it anymore. My heart was broken and still is. I miss her sooooooo much and think of her numerous times a day. The tears have lessened some but I still catch myself calling Raven by Sweetie's name. That of course makes me cry! I had to take Raven today to the vet to get her shots and thought I was ready for it. I had to make myself face the vet office again to keep Raven well. To my surprise they took me straight to the room we had to part with Sweetie in. I held back the tears until I got out of the office. It was hard! I kept wanting her to come through the door wagging her tail at me and licking me from head to toe but once again that wasn't going to happen. Sweetie, you were an amazing dog and a wonderful best friend. I love you and miss you more than words can express!
Cadence started ballet this past Saturday. She is having a blast becoming a ballerina! She got to be Alice during this class. She did a great job! She didn't want to do the stretches at first because it wasn't dancing to her. Finally they stood up and started stuff and she was going crazy! She really likes it. I am hoping to get her in gymnastics if I can sometime soon. Only if she wants to though. :)
We have a week til we go back for another sonogram. This coming Friday will put me at 30 weeks. CRAZY!!!! Where did the time go? We get to see Ainsley and they will be doing another 3D sono. We can't wait to see how much she favors Cadence. :) I have been working on her room some more. Getting really close to being done!!!! I am ready to see it all finished! :) Trying to get bags packed just incase because that will not be an easy task for Ryan to handle. HAHAAA! I will wind up with his underwear and not mine if he packs. HAHAHAAA! ;)
We are looking forward to this next weekend. Ryan's 29th birthday is this next Sunday on Mother's Day. It will be a fun day of celebrating with him!!! :) He is taking Monday off so we can take our time that day and get to the dr. appointment on time together. I am going to try and get a tour of the hospital that day too since it is right by the doc's office. We will see!

We are having a blast playing with Raven and loving on her. Cadence and Raven have become best friends. They follow each other around everywhere! It is really cute! She has done amazing this past week being out and about. She has begun to mellow out a little bit. When I say a little bit I mean a tiny bit. She is still the fun loving puppy we know and love. :)

Other than that just trying to get the house all ready for Ainsley to get here. Bottles have to be washed and put away, clothes cleaned, etc. Can't wait for this little one to get here! :)

3rd Trimester HERE WE COME!

I can't believe it! We are entering the last trimester today. I am officially 28 weeks today!!!! This time seems to drag by but then fly by. It is crazy! Since we have been back from Texas I have been working a lot at church and also trying to get this house ready for the newest addition. Ainsley's room is getting soooo close to being ready. I keep finding all the little last minute things on sale which has helped when it comes to getting it all done. :) Tonight I will be putting together her shelving unit and putting away all the other clothes. I am excited to see it all put together. YIPPEE!!! There will be a belly pic coming later tonight. Gotta wait for Ryan to get home and snap one. Til tonight.....Bye :)

Updates Past Due

Hello everyone! We have been out of touch for awhile. Cadence and I went to Texas for all of March and had a blast! We drove out with Mom and had such an amazing time on the road. Once we got there we went down to Kerrville to see Kathy and Charles. It was fun but we were both sick. Nothing like having to make an emergency run while being there. :P

Cadence riding the "tractor" with PawPaw. She didn't like it! :(

Cadence on our swing at Baylor. I think I see a future bear in the making! :)

Cadence and Grammy making homemade playdough

After Kerrville we came back to Dallas and hung out with my side of the family. All the kids were on Spring Break so we had loads of fun playing. We made it to the Fort Worth Zoo finally! All the kids were able to come except for Jake the oldest. He is a working man now! :) We had a blast at Ainsley's baby shower that my amazing sisters threw for us. It was great seeing friends and family there. :) Cadence had a blast putting on the clothes on my belly to see if they would fit Ainsley. I couldn't help but giggle! :) We also got to see Kim and Zachary to give him his birthday present since we missed his party. I was extremely bummed about that. :( Then Mom and the two of us hit the road to come back to Vegas. :( We sure miss Texas and everyone there. Wish we were still there! :(

Since we have been back we have had a doctor's appointment. Everything with Ainsley is looking great! We go back on April 27th for my last monthly appointment and then we are on to the two week appointments. I can't believe we have already hit that phase. I enter my 3rd trimester this next Friday. Crazy to think I have had this little booger in my belly for 28 weeks! :) Can't wait for her to get here! Cadence and I have been extremely busy in her room trying to get everything put together before she can make her grand arrival. Other than that Cadence is now signed up for ballet classes which start next week. I can't wait to see her in her little outfit!!! She is really excited and so are we! :) Take care and I will post again soon!
