Recent pics of Cadence

Cadence and I making Ryan's birthday cake. She was sooo excited!

Ryan's birthday dinner at On the Border. My two silly loves of my life!

We have a picture of her just like this one when she was a baby. Passed out cold!

She yanked her top down around her waist the other day and ran around thinking she was funny!

Can't you see all the laughter in our house this evening. ;)

God is Good

We found out yesterday that my HCG level dropped to a 7 since Tuesday so we are miscarrying again. I talked to Dr. D about our future options and what we can do next time to hopefully conceive. Please pray for Ryan and I to be guided by God to the right decision for us and Him. We are looking at insemination which Dr. D says will give us MUCH higher chances of a successful pregnancy.

I have felt at peace majority of yesterday since I was able to talk to him without the tears. He answered a lot of my questions and I feel very confident. For now we are holding off and letting my body come back to me for a little bit without taking so many hormones and pills and shots and blood draws. I am tired of needles! :) God has really put my heart at ease and I am feeling so much better. Cadence and Ryan have been amazing supporters as well as our friends and family. We thank you all and praise God for all He has done in our lives. I know our sweet baby is up in heaven now being held by my Pappy, Grandma Round, PaPa Round, and Ryan's grandmother and grandfather Campise. They are in amazing hands! :) We love you all and thank you again for all your support and prayers.

Prayers

We are in the process of trying for a baby. The last year has been difficult and we haven't had any successful pregnancies except one that has ended in a miscarriage last Father's Day. We found out yesterday that we are pregnant again but my HCG level is too low so my doc thinks we are losing the baby. I am really nervous! My heart says one thing and my head says another. I am so emotionally drained right now. I just ask for your continued prayers for my little family. Cadence is very anxious to be a big sister. She is soooo in love with babies right now. All she does is hold her babies and sing to them and pet them. She is amazing! We are so blessed to have her as our sweet angel. I was extremely emotional last night once we were home and everything really sunk in. I immediately went to my Bible and began reading Psalms because I can never read those enough. I just want to leave you with one Psalm that helped me last night. Thank you all for your prayers. We love yall!

"Here my cry, O God; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you. I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings. For you have heard my vows, O God; you have given me the heritage of those who fear your name." Psalms 61:1-5

Exciting Day

Today is Jennifer's birthday. My sis is getting old! HAHAHAAAA! They have headed out to Georgia for another exciting event in our family. My cousin Matthew is getting married to his beautiful bride Anna today. They should be man and wife as of now! My whole family was able to make the wedding except our crew. I couldn't escape due to all the doctor appointments I have to go to with all this fertility treatment stuff. Matthew and Anna, I wish you a lifetime of happiness and may God continue to watch over you as husband and wife. Welcome to the family Anna! You are an amazing addition to us all.

Our Beautiful Girl

Well it is hard to believe that our baby girl Cadence is finally 2 1/2 years old. Where has the time gone? Everyday I am amazed by what she has learned or the things she comprehends at her age. She is AMAZING! We were extremely excited to finally (after a long wait) discover her first 2 year molar coming through. No wonder she has been a crank pot these past few weeks! Probably explains why she got an ear infection as well. Poor baby!
She has been really excited about her new big girl bed. I have been trying to decide how we wanted to work the bedding situation if another baby were to come along sometime this lifetime. I was thinking of buying a new bed for Cadence and reusing her baby bed for the next one (as I said if that day ever comes) but then my wonderful husband suggested that we use the queen size bed from the guest bedroom and shift that to her room. You can't put an idea like that into my mind and expect me to sit there and not start rearranging the house. So last week I broke down her lifestyle toddler bed and put it together as a crib and put the queen bed in her room. I had found bedding at Bed, Bath, and Beyond that I liked and matched her room to a T but it was pricy. Well I got three coupons in the mail (CRAZY!) for B,B, & B and I went to get the bedding. I walked in and angels started singing because there sits that bedding all on SALE!!!!!!!! I was able to buy all three pieces I needed and use all three coupons and I saved $100!!! She is now in love with her big girl bed and can't wait for both of her grandmothers to come in and spend the night with her.
