3rd Trimester HERE WE COME!

I can't believe it! We are entering the last trimester today. I am officially 28 weeks today!!!! This time seems to drag by but then fly by. It is crazy! Since we have been back from Texas I have been working a lot at church and also trying to get this house ready for the newest addition. Ainsley's room is getting soooo close to being ready. I keep finding all the little last minute things on sale which has helped when it comes to getting it all done. :) Tonight I will be putting together her shelving unit and putting away all the other clothes. I am excited to see it all put together. YIPPEE!!! There will be a belly pic coming later tonight. Gotta wait for Ryan to get home and snap one. Til tonight.....Bye :)

Updates Past Due

Hello everyone! We have been out of touch for awhile. Cadence and I went to Texas for all of March and had a blast! We drove out with Mom and had such an amazing time on the road. Once we got there we went down to Kerrville to see Kathy and Charles. It was fun but we were both sick. Nothing like having to make an emergency run while being there. :P

After Kerrville we came back to Dallas and hung out with my side of the family. All the kids were on Spring Break so we had loads of fun playing. We made it to the Fort Worth Zoo finally! All the kids were able to come except for Jake the oldest. He is a working man now! :) We had a blast at Ainsley's baby shower that my amazing sisters threw for us. It was great seeing friends and family there. :) Cadence had a blast putting on the clothes on my belly to see if they would fit Ainsley. I couldn't help but giggle! :) We also got to see Kim and Zachary to give him his birthday present since we missed his party. I was extremely bummed about that. :( Then Mom and the two of us hit the road to come back to Vegas. :( We sure miss Texas and everyone there. Wish we were still there! :(

Since we have been back we have had a doctor's appointment. Everything with Ainsley is looking great! We go back on April 27th for my last monthly appointment and then we are on to the two week appointments. I can't believe we have already hit that phase. I enter my 3rd trimester this next Friday. Crazy to think I have had this little booger in my belly for 28 weeks! :) Can't wait for her to get here! Cadence and I have been extremely busy in her room trying to get everything put together before she can make her grand arrival. Other than that Cadence is now signed up for ballet classes which start next week. I can't wait to see her in her little outfit!!! She is really excited and so are we! :) Take care and I will post again soon!

We are excited to announce that we are having another baby girl. Her name is Ainsley Joy named after my mom. We are thrilled and can't wait to meet our new bundle of "joy"! Cadence is very happy to know that she is having a little sister and already tells us that Ainsley calls her "Sissy" while she is in my stomach. She talks to my belly all the time and tells Ainsley how much she loves her. We are soooo blessed to have two beautiful daughters and can't wait to hold our new one in our arms in July!!!!! Ainsley Joy we love you! :)

1 MORE DAY!

OH my goodness! It is soooooo hard to sit at home knowing that I am soooooo close to finding out the sex of the baby. In all reality I was supposed to be in this morning finding out but they canceled my appointment and switched it to Wednesday. AHHHH! I am doing my best to remain patient but man HURRY UP WEDNESDAY!!!!!!!! :)

Ryan and I had TONS of names picked out for both sexes and we finally narrowed down to 3 names for each and Cadence did the final picking. We are soooo excited and can't wait to let everyone know the name of the baby. I am soooo anxious now that we know what our baby name will be once we know what parts are connected or missing. HAHAHAAA! :)

So for now we will see yall again Wednesday when the big news has been delivered!!!!!!!

2 MORE WEEKS!

Oh my goodness! This time seems to be dragging by sooooo slowly. We went to the doc on Friday and met him for the first time. Dr. Rojas was a very nice man and we are really happy with our new doc and the whole office. :) He did an ultrasound to check the baby's heartbeat and Cadence thought that was the coolest thing ever. She ran over to me and said "Mommy, I heard our baby's heartbeat!!! YEAH!!!!" She was jumping up and down! She is going to be a great big sister!!! The doc also did a sonogram to check my placenta. My placenta was low back at the beginning of January so I have been really nervous about that. He checked it and it is finally out of the way and up higher where it should be. That was a HUGE relief! I tried my best to get him to check the sex of the baby but considering his staff booked 5 appointments at 8:00am and ours was at 8:15am and we didn't see him until 2 hours later I wasn't very lucky. So here we are waiting for 2 more weeks to pass by. By this time on the 22nd we will hopefully know what our little critter is as long as it isn't shy and shows the goods off. Please, please, PLEASE show them off sweet angel! Mommy, Daddy, and Sissy want to know really bad!!!!

This weekend we switched furniture around out of Cadence's room to give her more space for toys and then moved the dresser into the baby's room so that can be the changing table. I am getting soooo anxious about knowing the sex so I can get after the nursery. I am trying to keep myself busy until that day comes. Can't wait to find out! Love to all!

Cadence was reading to Elmo and told me she was getting ready to be a big sister so she can read to the baby. :) Man she warms my heart!

I can't believe we are already almost 16 weeks along. This pregnancy seems to have fast phases and then phases that crawl by. Lately it has been a crawling period because we are anxious to find out what we are having. I go back to the doc on Feb. 5th to meet the new OB that I am using. I am really excited! We have been to the office before and saw the NP and she was FANTASTIC! I am sure the doc will be amazing! Please continue to keep us in your prayers. The doc's office called yesterday with results of my blood tests and there are some things going on with me that they have to really watch. It is kinda scary but I know God has His hand on me and the baby. I am now on lots of meds to try and balance out some of the issues that I have and we will see how things are going from there. We have about 25 days left and we find out the sex of the baby!!! We are soooooooo excited! :) Cadence keeps talking about the baby and calling it a girl but then looked at me today at Target and said she wanted her baby brother's room to be blue. I know she is going to be happy with whatever we get. She is an amazing kiddo and we are soooo blessed to have her. Thanks for all the prayers and here are some recent pics of us. Love to all!
